Monroe Correctional Complex

Monroe Correctional Complex

Becoming a volunteer for New Life Prison Ministry involves simply making your interest known to us.  If you feel called to try and see if you would like to work in the prisons, we will set up a visitor experience for you so that you can see if you feel called to this setting.  If you are, we will then arrange for volunteer training through Monroe Prison, which takes several hours on a Tuesday evening.  Prior to this meeting, forms for a background check will be filled out.Remember that visiting in prisons is only one aspect of this ministry.  We also need van drivers, office help, encourages, prayer warriors, and many other tasks that occur infrequently.

The bottom line is that is you feel led to be involved, we will work with you to help you discover how your gifts can best be used.
