Sending a Mail/ Package

Metro Transitional Center allows inmates to send and receive mail and packages. The number of mails an inmate can receive at the Metro Transitional Center has no limits. However, the Metro Transitional Center's authorities are very strict when it comes to packages. 

You will need prior approval before you are allowed to send any package to the Metro Transitional Center. Additionally, the Metro Transitional Center will inspect it to ensure there is no contraband. You can send magazines and books to the Metro Transitional Center as long as they are from a publisher or authorized dealer.

Sending Money

Detainees in the Metro Transitional Center can receive money in their commissary account via check, cash, or money order. All money orders must come through the US postal services, and the Metro Transitional Center will not accept money orders sent through any other means.
